Privacy notice
The controller is SOFT DEV FZ LLC (Creative City Free Zone, Fujairah, licence 9485/2016). We store your email address for the launch updates you choose and/or your pilot application, with separate consent choices, their date and time and the wording you saw. New requests remain pending confirmation. Your details are stored by our processor, Google Cloud, in Belgium (European Union), outside the UAE, under Google Cloud's data processing terms. We do not sell your data or use automated decision-making.
We keep contact details and consent records for up to 24 months from signup or until withdrawal, whichever comes first. We delete pilot details earlier when they are no longer needed for selection or participation. Anonymous usage counts are kept for up to 13 months. These are maximum operational periods, not statutory retention periods.
Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL), you may request access, a machine-readable copy (portability), rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction or cessation of processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Use your saved private management link to stop launch updates, withdraw your pilot application or delete everything; for other rights, email nico@brainy.ae. You may lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You can use the calculators and download drafts without joining.
Calculator inputs and generated documents stay in your browser. We use no analytics cookies. We collect anonymous usage counts (which tool was used, on which day, and the campaign tags of the visit), linked to a random per-tab identifier that is never connected to your contact details. Only tool views and completed calculations use that identifier for deduplication. Signup and submission counts have no session identifier; no usage event stores an exact time, IP address or user agent. We honour Global Privacy Control. Campaign tags use a closed catalogue of sources, media, campaigns and content; free-text tags and search terms are discarded. Save your private management link to manage your choices.
Founding-company pilot (optional): only if you tick the pilot box, we store that request with its date and time and any optional pilot details you provide: company name, mainland or free zone and which free zone, annual revenue range, VAT registration status, number of business bank accounts and whether you have an external accountant. We use these details with your email address to assess eligibility for, and contact you about, the free Brainy Tax founding-company pilot. Launch updates use a separate, optional permission. Selection is not automatic. We do not ask for documents, bank statements, invoices, TRNs or exact amounts. The controller and hosting country are the same as above. Withdrawing the application removes its details; deleting the record removes all contact details and consent records.
