How this tool works

Enter the business year-end, annual revenue, incorporation date where relevant and your reference date. If this is the first Corporate Tax period, supply its confirmed closing date; incorporation and registration dates alone do not establish it. Add the evaluated SBR period, residence, revenue history and exclusion details for the conditions assessment.

Select “Calculate calendar”. Dated results cover the next 12 months, starting on the reference date and excluding the same date 12 months later. Notices remain visible without a date. The engine calculates Corporate Tax filing/payment dates and, for a confirmed first period, the earlier first-return date relevant to the late-registration waiver. Dates are displayed in this tool. It does not send deadline alerts.

For VAT-registered profiles, enter the assigned monthly or quarterly cycle, including the four quarter-end months where relevant, and any assigned deadline overrides. The engine otherwise uses 28 days after period-end; check EmaraTax for assigned dates and holiday adjustments. VAT Executive Regulation, arts. 62 and 64.

The calendar also includes supplier-scope notices and e-invoicing milestone dates and notices; dated milestones appear within the same 12-month window. Profiles that are, or intend to claim status as, a Qualifying Free Zone Person (QFZP) receive audit and de minimis notices, without a de minimis calculation or QFZP determination; only actual QFZP status is treated as a Small Business Relief exclusion in the SBR check. MD 84/2025, arts. 2 and 4; MD 229/2025, art. 3.

The SBR result states whether the supplied inputs meet the checked conditions, fail them or need more information. It is not verified eligibility. This tool does not calculate tax payable or file a return.

Before you rely on a result

Questions, answered.

When is a return due for a 31 March 2026 period-end?

The engine returns 31 December 2026 for filing and payment. It uses the last day of the month nine months after the entered close; it does not automatically adjust weekends or holidays. Corporate Tax Law, arts. 48 and 53(1).

How is the late-registration waiver date different?

For a confirmed first period ending on 30 April 2026, the engine returns 30 November 2026 as the seven-month filing date relevant to the AED 10,000 late-registration penalty waiver. Payment remains due at the ordinary nine-month deadline. Conditions must be met; this is not a promise of a waiver. FTA CTP006, summary and waiver conditions.

Was Small Business Relief extended to 2029?

Yes. The extension covers eligible periods beginning on or after 1 June 2023 and ending on or before 31 December 2029. Eligibility relates to the tax period, not the year in which its return is filed. MD 131/2026, art. One.

Is revenue of AED 3 million enough to qualify for SBR?

Not by itself. The current and relevant previous periods must meet the revenue threshold; residence, QFZP status, excluded multinational-group membership and artificial separation also matter. An eligible resident person must elect for relief, and registration and filing remain required. Corporate Tax Law (FDL 47/2022), arts. 21, 51 and 53; MD 73/2023, arts. 2, 3 and 6.
